2023 Salomon Highpath Snowboard The Highpath is a culmination of Salomon's efforts to design a high performance, all-mountain snowboard that paves the way for a more sustainable future. Built with eco-friendly materials and Rock Out Camber, the tapered directional Highpath is the pinnacle of all-terrain performance from the backcountry to the frontside, through side hits and wind lips. Camber Profile Rock Out Camber - Flat between your bindings for stability, camber near the feet for response, and rocker on the tip/tail for pressability. Flex Flex Rating - 4/5 (1=Soft,5=Stiff) Shape Tapered Directional - Tail width is slightly tapered (2-20mm). This loosens up turning initiation and improves floatation in deeper snow without sacrificing edge hold on hardpack. Quadratic Sidecut - Quadratic sidecuts use 3 or more radii instead of a continuous radial sidecut. The radii of the sidecut is shallower at the ends and deeper in the middle, which promotes easier turn initiation. Core Ghost Green Core - Ghost Green Core components have been selected and designed to optimize pop and reduce weight while utilizing sustainable attributes of a super light paulownia wood. Popster - Popster's shaped core profile thins out under foot and thickens outside your bindings before tapering again at tip and tail to maximize the natural snap and pop of wood. Feels like your skateboard kicktail finally connected with your snowboard. C/FX Basalt - Take down of the C/FX superfiber. This version of the C/FX is composed of Basalt & fiber glass for power and smooth ride. FSCA(R) Certified Wood Core Laminates ABC Wrapper - ABC Wrapper is a patented process using structural bamboo veneers to reduce fiberglass and resin content in each board by 40%. Biaxial Medium Density Fiberglass - Medium density European-made fiberglass layers guarantee a consistent quality level, for light and lively boards. GreenPoxy 28 Resin Sidewalls ABS Sidewalls - The molecular structure of ABS can be described as a concrete bar with rubber nuggets inside, combining toughness for energy transfer and dampening properties for impact absorption. Base 50% Recycled Sintered Base - Provides a moderate balance between the speed created by a hard surface and good wax retention. Fine Stone Finish - Fine stone finish helps speed up in powder or softer snow conditions. Edges All-Mountain Edge Bevel - A 1Adeg edge holding tune throughout the key parts of the sidecut meets a 2Adeg bevel between the feet. This delivers the most solid edge hold with no hang-ups.
