Volkl

Shiro 2016

If you've got the kind of kid who shuns the park and longs to follow you into the backcountry to crush some big powder lines, then more power to 'em! Do them a favor and pick up a pair of the Völkl Shiro Jr Skis, a rare example of an honest-to-goodness wood core and sidewall construction wide ski built specifically for kids. Like its bigger namesake, the Shiro Jr floats the fluff like a champ but also has the guts to make clean turns at speed on the groomers. Get the ski you wished you had as a kid and jump on the Shiro Jr before your kid lets another pow day slip by.
