Upgraded with a redesigned nose and tail, added kick, RAD Bumps, and a Carbon Reinforced D3O® matrix laminate, it delivers unmatched stability at high speeds while staying poppy and agile at slower speeds—adapting effortlessly to your riding style. A longer tail with added kick and a larger nose surface area enhance powder performance, allowing for bigger landings, more power off the tail, and improved switch riding. The three-part multi-radius sidecut with RAD Bumps provides extra grip, smooth turn initiation, and deep carving freedom. With a Poplar and Paulownia Torsion Control Core (TCC), tip-to-tail 30mm carbon uni stringers, and setback camber, the Backslash maximizes edge control, pop, and responsiveness. Polyurethane sidewalls absorb vibrations for a smooth, confident ride in any condition. From bottomless powder to high-speed carves and playful park laps, the Backslash is built to rip. Splitboard-Specific Construction While the Backslash Snowboard is built as a resort-ready volume-shifted freeride board, the Backslash Split is engineered specifically for human-powered backcountry exploration. The split version features a Transition Control Core designed as two independent ski halves , improving skin track efficiency and balanced touring performance while maintaining the lively flex and pop the Backslash is known for. It also incorporates Phantom Hercules clips and the THINSERTS™ top-mount system for a rigid, seamless connection when the board is locked together for the descent. Reinforced aluminum tail protection and touring-specific durability upgrades ensure the board can handle repeated transitions, rugged terrain, and long missions while still delivering the playful powder-surfing performance the Backslash shape is famous for.
