Surface
Ruess 2015
Surface innovates once again with the Ruess Skis. At 105 mm underfoot, the Ruess looks like a traditionally built powder and big mountain touring ski from above, but as soon as you flip the base over, the scaled base reveals itself. Designed for long, low angle approaches, the Surface Ruess Skis remove the entire skin/ski transition from the equation, giving you more time to ski and less hassle pulling frozen skins apart in subzero weather. The Ruess is designed with a directional twin tip shape and early rise in the tip and tail, so once you reach your desired summit or backcountry booter, you can enjoy your day stomping airs or exploring new backcountry lines.
