Tree Surfer 2027

See what's most wanted →

The Tree Surfer is more than just a fish-shaped powder board. Its distinctive hammerhead nose cuts through thick crust like a tank, opening a path for the rest of the board to follow. The fish tail naturally sinks and steers in powder and wind-packed snow, delivering surfy control without the drawbacks of a larger swallowtail. The result is a board that feels loose and playful in soft snow while remaining stable and predictable when conditions get challenging. Like every Stranda board, the Tree Surfer carves exceptionally well, delivering precise edge hold and powerful turns even on firmer snow. The Tree Surfer features color-coded PU sidewalls that provide excellent vibration damping for a smooth, quiet ride in rough snow. The topsheet is finished with a thin layer of bamboo, sealed with a high-gloss polished lacquer for a distinctive natural look. Designed as a true freeride snowboard, the Tree Surfer thrives in tight terrain, deep snow, and unpredictable conditions—turning difficult snow into something you’ll actually look forward to riding. The unique hammerhead-sharknose brings you next level riding even in thick crust. This is a board shaped to excel in variable conditions. Profile We build our snowboards with classic camber and Tip-Tail-Rocker. We distinguish between standard camber and low camber: with low camber, the centre of the board is slightly elevated and the contact points are further towards the centre. The Tree Surfer has 6 mm camber. core At Stranda Snowboards we use ash wood and a minor part poplar in our cores. Ash is perfect for building high-performance snowboards as it dampens vibrations and holds its camber, extending the life of your board. Adding poplar keeps the weight down. Choosing a premium material also allowed us to reduce the use of petroleum-based composites. We use a thin layer of bamboo as the topsheet, which adds to performance. #image_1918866068 { width: 100%; } #image_498265702 { width: 100%; } #image_883661479 { width: 100%; }
