SuperGlider 2027
LIMITED RUN – OPEN FOR PRE ORDERS – DELIVERY END OF SEPTEMBER The SuperGlider is a radical take on how to achieve a tight-turning snowsurf shape while maintaining the larger sidecut needed for tackling big mountain lines. Designing with intuition—letting go of strict mathematics and convention— Mats Drougge explored the limits of what’s possible when combining sidecut and base shape. We pressed the first prototypes in 2022, and three seasons later, we finally nailed it. The board features an 8.2-meter tail radius that can be engaged independently from the main 11.5-meter sidecut by applying pressure to the tail. This lets you rip cutback-style carves on mellow groomers and makes for an incredibly playful ride. In powder, the glide is phenomenal. The flat base generates minimal drag, making it the fastest board ever to wear the Stranda logo. And when it’s time to charge steeper, deeper lines, the 11.5-meter sidecut up front provides the stability you need. The SuperGlider is a shape that will take you a full season to unlock—but once you do, it will change the way you ride. SPECIFICATIONS Length: 181 cm Core: Poplar/bamboo Construction: Triax glass with carbon torsion rods. Dual milled out bamboo stringers following sidecut and center of board. PU-sidewalls. From mid of inserts it’s flat in to nose rocker. SHAPE Three radii blended sidecuts that enables quicker, more radical, turns when ridden on the back fooot pressuring it’s cutback area. Power Bumps ™ at inserts for added grip on ice. Core For the SuperGlider we went for a poplar core with bamboo stringers. Choosing premium materials allowed us to reduce the use of petroleum-based composites. We use a thin layer of bamboo as the topsheet, which adds to performance. #image_314569298 { width: 100%; } #image_1794393914 { width: 100%; } #image_2022975301 { width: 100%; }
