Biru 2027

The Biru . A one-board quiver for advanced snowboarders looking for a deck that can take on the entire mountain. Awarded “Best Party Snowboard 23/24” by The Angry Snowboarder and tested as one of the best snowboards of 2024 and 2025 by Outside Magazine . The Biru features a volume-shifted shape with a wide waist, so riders should size down 4–5 cm. A long nose and compact fish tail give it excellent float in powder, while the full camber profile delivers maximum pop and power, with just a touch of early rise. An aggressively turned-up tail kick allows for confident switch landings without consequences. For edge hold, we added three PowerBumps® to keep things locked in during those tricky freeze–thaw conditions. Of course, it comes with a sintered race base. The core is our proven blend of poplar, paulownia, and ash for the perfect balance of strength, snap, and lightweight response. And the name? Biru means devil in the Sámi language. Profile The Biru has a full 6 mm camber with a slight early rise in the nose for ease of turn in. core At Stranda Snowboards we base our cores around ash wood and mix poplar and sometimes paulownia. Ash is perfect for building high-performance snowboards as it dampens vibrations and holds its camber, extending the life of your board.
