Growing up between his family's butcher shop, skateboarding and snowboarding, drawing became Kim's way of expressing the world around him. Over the years, his unmistakable style evolved into dark, hand-drawn illustrations where skulls, thistles and symbolic imagery reflect resilience, resistance and the cycles of life. For Kim, snowboards are more than equipment—they're canvases where DIY culture, personal expression and snowboard culture come together. His Happy Place graphic is a reminder that happiness isn't something you find—it's something you create.
