On a long forest tour with a gradual climb and a lunch stop halfway, the Rossignol XT 5 Ski Boot is the Nordic touring boot that keeps the feet warm. A liner with 3M Thinsulate insulation heat-molds to the foot for a custom fit, and an adjustable gaiter and central zipper seal out snow. A lace closure under a zippered cover keeps the fit secure, and the stiff touring sole fits NNN bindings for cross-country skiing.
