Offshore Snow Shapes
Half Baked 2027
Handmade true-twin freestyle snowboard from Niseko, Japan. Mellow camber for float and pop, pin tip and tail for feel, forgiving in every direction. Made to order by Offshore Snow Shapes. The Intention The Half Baked is for the rider who treats powder like a park. The true-twin shape keeps regular and switch completely balanced, while the pin tip and tail bring more feel through the ends of the board. A mid-range flex keeps it easy to press, butter and move around, with enough support when you need to land something clean. Mellow Camber keeps pop and grip through the centre, with flatter sections through the nose and tail for a more forgiving ride and better soft-snow performance. Easy to move around, forgiving when things get loose and durable enough to keep doing it season after season. How It Rides The Half Baked rides loose, playful and easy. Its mid-range flex gives it enough softness to press and butter without feeling floppy, with enough support underneath you for side hits and landings. The true-twin shape keeps regular and switch completely balanced, so spins, butters and switch landings feel natural in either direction. The pin tip and tail give the ends a sensitive feel, while Mellow Camber keeps enough pop and grip through the centre to carve, press and launch off whatever you find. When the snow gets deep, the flatter sections through the tips help the board plane more easily and give it surprising float for a centred twin. Nothing about it is demanding. It just wants to play. The Rider For the freestyle rider who wants powder to be a playground. Someone who rides switch, butters, hunts side hits and wants a forgiving twin they can lean on for years. Beginner through advanced. Sensitive, forgiving and easy to make your own. The Terrain Soft snow and fresh laps. Side hits, spins and switch landings. Groomers to link it all together. The Half Baked turns the whole mountain into a park, in either direction.
