Banana Blaster 2027
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying"The Banana Blaster is the board I wish I'd had when I was learning to ride switch and hit my first park features. The BTX contour makes it forgiving without being sloppy — it floats pow, carves groomers, and jibs without fighting you. Magne-Traction means you're not sliding out on icy traverses either. It's one of those boards that actually makes you a better rider because it lets you focus on technique, not survival."Who It's ForDay-One to Advanced All-Mountain and Freestyle RidersThe Banana Blaster is built for riders at the start of their progression who want a board that won't hold them back as they improve. It's forgiving enough for beginners finding their feet in the park and on groomers, but capable enough to carry intermediate and advancing riders through pow days and resort laps without outgrowing it too quickly. What It's ForPark, Resort, and All-Mountain TerrainThe Banana Blaster is designed to handle everything a developing rider wants to explore — park features, groomed resort runs, and powder days alike. Its twin shape and BTX rocker/camber contour make it catch-free and easy to ride in variable conditions, while Magne-Traction keeps it honest on hardpack. Why We Like ItPlayful BTX Contour with Magne-Traction Edge HoldThe Banana Blaster runs Lib Tech's Original Power Construction with a Paulownia+ core — 25% Aspen and 75% Paulownia — keeping it light and lively underfoot. The BTX banana contour features mild camber at the tip and tail with a central rocker section, making it easy to initiate turns, float in soft snow, and jib without catching edges. Magne-Traction serrated steel edges add grip on hardpack and ice that a conventional edge can't match. The eco sublimated CO-EX base is fast and low-maintenance, and birch internal sidewalls with UHMW sintered sidewalls keep the build durable through a full season of progression riding.
