evo.com | Lib Tech Snowboards > The Lib Tech T. Rice Apex Orca II Snowboard takes the already legendary Orca formula and sends it into full "bionic big mountain experiment" territory. Travis Rice and Mike Olson reworked the design into an ultralight carbon-loaded powerhouse, pairing a long floaty nose and short-radius camber tail with a directional C2 contour that carves, floats, and locks into steep terrain like it's on rails. Built with "Techno Pop" carbon construction, recycled materials, and those swing-weight-killing Anti Matter 3D tips and tails, it rides noticeably smaller thanks to its volume-shifted shape and should be sized 3-6 cm shorter than your normal board. It's fast, precise, a little ridiculous in the best way, and very clearly not here to behave. Medium - Stiff Stout enough to charge your hardest but without excessive harshness. Directional 2 x 4 Inserts Magne-Traction(R) Strategically located edge serrations provide unreal edge hold and control in all conditions. Turns ice into powder.
