When ski mountaineering routes have a tricky uphill and a demanding downhill, we are happy to have our feet in theLa Sportiva Kilo Ski Boot. These lightweight boots rely on a Tilt-Lock walk mode lever to open up 70° of motion on the ascent, a Grilamid construction that is lightweight yet rigid, and a Force Power Buckle that locks our shin in place so that we can hop turn tight shoots or hold an edge on open pitches.
