Jones Snowboards built the Frontier 2. 0 around a tapered directional shape and directional rocker profile with a 3D Flip Tip nose that lifts naturally through soft snow and smooths out the catch points that slow other boards down. The 3D Contour Base shapes the ride underfoot for more fluid turn initiation and better flow between terrain types, while a short sidecut keeps things agile and responsive when you want to tighten things up in the trees or slash a side hit. Medium traction edges add grip when the groomed surface firms up, and a sintered 8000 base holds wax and stays fast through all of it.
