I'm not going to apologize. I fully believe in extraterrestrial life, and I've always wanted a ski that captures that energy without being gimmicky. This one absolutely nails it. Siva K Hansen is an Edmonton, Alberta painter who picked up a brush during recovery from a skateboarding accident and never put it down. She works primarily in acrylics, painting with a raw emotional honesty that translates directly into her landscapes. She often explores nature as a metaphor for resilience, and you feel that in her work. What I love about this painting is how understated it is. It reads at first glance as a scenic landscape, hills, mountains, sky. And then you notice the UFO. Bold against the surreal color palette, like it was always there and you just weren't looking. There's dot-splatter making up the stars in the sky and other small details you'll continue discovering mid-chairlift.
