It’s great to be collaborating with Julia Veenstra, who lives just over the border in Ontario, Canada. Her paintings of trees are like stepping into a wild, technicolor forest, which I just knew would look sick stretched the full length of a ski! She’s got this amazing way of using bold brushstrokes that make everything pop with energy. Julia layers acrylic paints to build rich, textured scenes that feel super alive. She really captures the vibe and emotion of the place. This tree bursts with vibrant greens, yellows, and blues, looking like they’re straight-up dancing with life. I made only 300 pairs, so they’re going to sell out fast. Each pair is hand-signed and numbered, making your skis as one-of-a-kind as her artwork!
