Growing up, my dad would blast country music on our home stereo. John Denver was always in the tape deck on rotation, so when we decided to honor this legend with a ski graphic, “Rocky Mountain High” was the place to go! The top of the ski features Maroon Bells Scenic Area in the heart of the Colorado Rockies between Aspen and Crested Butte during that magical moment in the fall when all the leaves change and the mountains light up with bright colors. This super bright mountain scene pops off the snow, these skis look incredible in person! We added a vintage vinyl record label to the top to tie it all together. John Denver wasn't just a musician—he was a mountain lover who happened to be a genius songwriter. He got his first guitar from his grandmother at eleven and never looked back. What made Denver special was how he captured nature's soul in his music. The dude literally wrote "Annie's Song" on a ski lift! That's our kind of creative process. Denver blended folk, pop, and country into something completely unique, selling over 33 million records while staying true to his mountain-loving roots. His songs weren't just hits—they were love letters to the outdoors. I'm only making 300 pairs of this Limited Edition graphic on "The Flight" ski, and I hand-signed and numbered each.
