If you’re a skier, you've seen Oskar Enander's photography your whole life. You just didn’t know his name. Oskar is a color-blind Swedish photographer based in Engelberg, Switzerland. He dropped out of engineering school in 1999 to go ski bum in Chamonix and never looked back. His first submission to Powder Magazine won him Photo of the Year. He's won it three times since, the only photographer in history to do it. He's shot for Patagonia, The North Face, and every major ski publication on earth. Because he's color-blind, he works entirely in light, shadow, and contrast, which is exactly why his images hit so differently. We stacked a carefully selected collection of Oskar's snowy environment photos down the entire length of the ski. Individually the shots are beautiful, but as a group they tell a story of his amazing perspective capturing our unique surroundings. For the base, we used a beautiful untracked powder field letting its natural lines and shades of flowing snow tell the story tip to tail. Like an empty canvas waiting for first tracks. We made only 200 pairs of this Limited Edition on The Escalator, our favorite ski for shredding from the resort to backcountry powder stashes. Each pair is hand-signed and numbered by J Lev. Order yours now before they sell out. Perspective changes everything. See Oskar's incredible photographs here
