The Best Friend "HYPERACTIVE" Lucas Beaufort x J Collab 2026

When Lucas Beaufort's pen starts flowing, there's literally no stopping it, like an endless skate lap through the park, every turn and transition has you amped to see where he’s going next! I've been wanting to work with Lucas for years after seeing his artwork everywhere in the skateboard scene—decks, magazines, skate parks, huge murals. His wild abstract patterns play tricks on your brain. Your eye thinks it's seeing something familiar, like a hand or person, then it flips to completely abstract to keep you guessing and wanting to see more. Lucas paints on anything and everything worldwide! Fank actually watched him paint in downtown Seattle, and said it was wild to see his work come together in person. The entire time Lucas was having conversations, sipping a Negroni, and his piece just evolved coming to life naturally. As Lucas states, "I never sketch before, I just let my hand dance all around the world." He approaches art like skateboarding—pure energy, joy, and fearlessness. Dude just started painting at 27 and exploded onto the scene drawing on skateboard magazine covers! What I love about this ski is the contrast. The top is all black with only the white line art, so it really looks sick against the snow. The base is the opposite, similar pattern but filled with vibrant colors, like bright camouflage which looks sick flying through the air! We named it "The Hyperactive" because it speaks to both the fun factor and Lucas's nature. I'm only building 200 pairs of this Limited Edition graphic on "The Best Friend" ski, hand-signing and numbering each. Lucas has lots of fans around the world so these are going to sell out fast. Grab this fun piece of iconic artwork before they’re gone!
