The Allplay "HOUND" 2026

I've been wanting to do a crazy bright camo orange base graphic forever, and Fank absolutely crushed it on this one! This graphic has roots in hunting safety and vintage Americana that run deep. Our inspiration began with a legendary 1960 Field & Stream article by Vermont hunter Frank Woolner called "Hunter Orange—Your Shield of Safety." We recreated this badass blaze orange camo pattern as our foundation across the base, it’s going to look so sick when you’re in the air! Then Fank discovered an incredible piece of vintage fabric from the 1960s—likely originally produced for Sears or JCPenney for upholstery or shirts. This classic hunting scene artwork is literally impossible to find today, totally out of print with only rare scraps remaining. Working from just a fragment of this vintage textile, he scanned and meticulously reconstructed the entire hunting scene into a repeating pattern on the top of the ski. He laid this over a light wood background and preserved the original canvas texture of the fabric within the artwork. The result is what looks like simple camo from a distance but then reveals itself as an intricate world of hunting dogs, pheasants, and classic outdoor scenes when you get up close. The light wood grain background gives it this soulful, natural vibe that perfectly complements the vintage hunting imagery. It’s like you're looking at an actual piece of 1960s textile history wrapped around your skis. We're calling this ski "The Hound", and just like a good hunting dog, you'll be sniffing out all the best lines! I'm only building 300 pairs on The Allplay ski, hand-signing and numbering each, so grab yours before it's gone.
