The Allplay "BELIEVER" Pete Kornowski x J Collab 2026
I stumbled by Purple Sage Gallery in Winthrop, Washington (right by North Cascades Heli) and literally stopped dead in my tracks when I saw Pete's work in the window! His paintings are like stepping into the middle of a movie scene you never saw coming. In one of his paintings there’s these Native Americans on horseback looking out over a prairie and in the night sky above them there's frickin' Starlink satellites! It's hilarious, thought provoking and beautiful at the same time. I immediately set out on a mission to collab with him. After tracking Pete down online, I discovered he'd moved back to Wisconsin, but he was totally down for the project. We called this ski "The Believer" because isn't believing more fun than not believing? I'm a lifelong fan of UFOs and aliens - on the weekends my family often finds me late night passed out on the couch with Ancient Aliens still playing on TV! Haaa! What makes Pete's UFO art so unique is that it's not gimmicky or cartoony at all. They are legit Western landscape paintings that happen to have aliens in them - like this stuff has actually been happening for thousands of years, which I totally believe it has! This Wisconsin-based artist is completely self-taught and works primarily with acrylics to create what he calls "imaginative storytelling artwork." His paintings have been described as "like being dropped off in the middle of a book" with time and place intentionally blurred. I'm building only 300 pairs of "The Believer" on The Allplay ski and hand-signing and numbering each. Whether you're a fellow believer or just love incredible artwork, these are going to soon become as rare as a UFO sighting! Check out Pete Kornowski's art and Instagram !
