Best Friend Prototype 2026

These are extremely rare, one-of-a-kind prototype Best Friend skis from deep in our R&D vault! Designed by head ski engineer Giray Dadali, each one of these skis is a unique experiment that was built at our ski factory in Rimouski, Quebec and tested during the 23/24 ski season. "Used" skis have been mounted once with Marker Griffon demo bindings and skied no more than 10 days. "New" skis are brand-new in plastic like all other new skis. Each ski has a unique flex pattern that may be softer, stiffer or similar to the production Best Friend. I cannot tell you how an individual prototype will feel differently than the production version of the ski, but I can guarantee all will feel awesome and still ski great.
