The uphill performance is made possible by the HOJI Lock Walk Mode that opens up 70° range of motion for easy striding up variably steep skin tracks. Once we are staring over our tips at a steep line (our favorite view), we are filled with confidence knowing that we have a 110 flex, 4-buckle, 2-piece boot to drive our skis through north-facing pow or south-facing chunder.
