The Stairmaster originated as a board discounted out of the box that's smaller, wider, softer, and designed for maneuverability around the park. The 148 was so successful that CAPiTA developed it into its own series of four sizes for 2005 with an upgraded topsheet, and graphics by Corey Smith.
