What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I moved into the Waverange X after outgrowing my beginner boots and the independent upper and lower dials made a noticeable difference in how locked in my heel felt. They flex enough to still feel playful on jumps, but they hold up when I'm charging into steeper lines."We strap in after a full morning of laps, and the Waverange X Snowboard Boots are still doing their job, holding heels down and flexing where riders need it most as legs start to tire. Built for riders who've moved past the beginner stage and are still figuring out their style, these boots sit right in that in between zone, offering more structure than an entry level boot without locking riders into an overly stiff, advanced flex. The Dual Zone Boa system lets you tune the upper and lower portions of the boot independently, so a looser calf and a snug lower foot are no longer mutually exclusive. The Ankle Hammock adds its own external dial to lock the heel down further, cutting down on the heel lift that causes sloppy, delayed turns. Underneath it all, the EST Optimized Midsole lowers the center of gravity for a more direct, surf like connection to the board.
