Disaster 2024
2024 Bataleon Disaster Snowboard Park and street destruction! The Disaster blends innovative tech with hard-as-nails construction for a jib deck that can attack anything in its path. It features Bataleon's most relaxed camber and a soft flex so it feels chill on the run-in and is easy to press. Contemporary nose and tail kicks are shaped in for a skate-like feel. Camber Profile Low Camber 3BT(TM) (Triple Base Technology) with SideKick(TM) - All Bataleon boards feature tip to tail positive camber in combination with lifted sidebase contact points. SideKick(TM) Tips enhance 3BT's advantages like nothing you experienced before by dramatically increasing the sidebase uplift at the widest points of the nose and tail. This makes turn initiation even smoother, increases float in powder and handling of the board in rough terrain. Shape Twin 3BT - This board is a true twin, meaning it's perfectly symmetrical for riding both switch and regular and are designed with maximum center base with minimal side base uplift. This creates a stable landing platform with a forgiving feel. Flex Flex Rating - 2/10 (1=Soft,10=Stiff) Core Core Core - Full poplar with beech hardwood laid tip to tail along the inserts strengthening the board's backbone, reinforcing the inserts and producing more pop. Laminates Biax Laminate - Bataleon's traditional and time tested two-way weave of fiberglass is light, strong and responsive; keeping the board snappy without adding torsional stiffness. Sidewalls Shock Walls - Urethane infused sidewall technology. Shock Walls smooth out your ride and are more resistant to impact. Base Hyper Glide S - Bataleon's standard sintered base that's durable and fast - and even faster when you keep it waxed.
