The Cameleon: Your secret to transforming any day on the hill into an extraordinary adventure. CAMBER PROFILE Medium Camber - Camber profiles are defined from low to high. Higher camber make for more dynamic boards that need to be ridden more aggressively to get maximum performance. Lower camber boards are smoother on lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail. 3BT(TM) (Triple Base Technology) with SideKick(TM)- All Bataleon boards feature tip to tail positive camber in combination with lifted sidebase contact points. SideKick(TM) Tips enhance 3BT&';s advantages like nothing you experienced before by dramatically increasing the sidebase uplift at the widest points of the nose and tail. This makes turn initiation even smoother, increases float in powder and handling of the board in rough terrain. SHAPE Directional All Mountain - On more freeride orientated boards the center base is at its most narrow and the uplift is at its highest this creates unparalleled float in pow super fast edge-to-edge transitioning. Sidebase Uplift - High Nose, Medium Tail - The gradual side base uplift determines how the board will behave on snow. Most effected are the edge to edge performance and the uplift generated when riding powder. Any amount of uplift brings all the benefits of Triple Base Technology, making Bataleon boards more versatile than others. FLEX Flex Rating - 6/10 (1=Soft,10=Stiff) FLOAT 79/100 - Maximum volume for surfy vibes in the pow, or a smaller surface area for nimble freestyle performance. This number is calculated with length, width, 3D shape and surface distribution. CORE Ultra Light Core - The Ultra Light Core features a 70-30 Swiss paulownia and poplar wood blend for an unparalleled strength to weight ratio. Flex Tail LAMINATES Tri-ax Laminate - A 3-way fibreglass weave that strengthens the flex pattern and keeps the board light, strong, and responsive. Carbon Stringers - Carbon is feather light and adds explosive pop, precise edge control, reactive response and smooth dampening to a board. Bataleon uses this to beef up the flex pattern. D.R.S.T. - Dual Radial Super Tubes - Similar to DST but with four extra Super Tubes (six in total) running parallel to the board radius, delivering extra power to the edges. Step Down Rails Top 3D - This topsheet 3D effect features a slight taper of the deck along the top of the sidewall. This reduces the top-profile, saving weight and adding more precision to your carves. SIDEWALLS Flex Walls BASE Ultra Glide S - A premium, 7000-grade sintered base reserved for our high-end models.
