The 102 is torsionally stiff with the added Articulated Titanal Banding which is a layer of titanal laid on top of the core. The Comp Series Base is high grade polyethylene with added carbon for better gliding ability and lots of extra durability prolonging the life of the ski base. Sandwich sidewalls are added to further stiffen the ski for tons of added strength and stability for high speed situations.
